Year 3 had a fantastic time at the Hancock Museum yesterday! First of all, children completed a workshop where they handled artefacts from the Stone Age and the Bronze Age. Then they were asked to identify what they thought each artefact was made out of and what its purpose was. Finally, children were asked to decide if the artefact was from the Stone Age or the Bronze Age. The highlight of the day was when they got to hold a real woolly mammoth’s tooth! Members of the public commented on the children’s excellent behaviour. Well done, Year 3!
