“Who’s that trip trapping over my bridge?” Today reception took their learning outdoors and it was based around the story “Three Billy Goats Gruff”. Children had to work collaboratively to make a bridge for the goats to cross. We used our gross motor skills to select and move blocks, bricks, creates and planks to stack and build our own bridges. We planned what we were going to build first as well as identifying how we could improve the sturdiness of the bridges when they collapsed.

We will use our build it up knowledge this week when we talk about the story in Drawing Club.
